Position Overview: Manager (Fire Safety) As the Manager (Fire Safety) at S. Alam Group, you will be entrusted with a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of all factories within the group. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and mitigating fire safety risks and hazards.
- Conducting regular maintenance of fire safety equipment.
- Providing first aid in case of accidents.
- Training fire teams for emergency preparedness.
- Monitoring and optimizing the utilization of fire protection and detection devices.
- Developing and obtaining approval for fire safety plans.
Requirements: To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputed university, along with a minimum of six months of training from Bangladesh Fire Services & Civil Defence. Alternatively, candidates with a BA/BSS/B.Sc/B.Com and at least 10 years of experience in the Fire Service & Civil Defence are encouraged to apply.
- Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Additional Requirements: Candidates should be at least 40 years old and possess core knowledge of the latest fire protection and detection systems.
