Jahangirnagar University has published notification for recruitment of manpower. Four persons in 13th and 16th grade will be appointed for three category posts in this higher education institution. Interested candidates should send application form directly or by post.

1. Post Name: Senior Assistant
No. of Posts: 1
Department: Department of Archaeology
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree with minimum two years experience in Office Assistant/Office Assistant cum Record Keeper/equivalent post. OR Graduation with minimum five years professional experience in office assistant/office assistant cum record keeper/equivalent post. CGPA below 2.5/class III is not acceptable at any stage of academic career.
Pay Scale: Rs.11,000-26,590 (Grad-13)

2. Post Name: Seminar Library Assistant
No. of Posts: 1
Department: Department of Mathematics
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Library Science. Or HSC or equivalent pass and certificate in library science with two years experience in related work. CGPA below 2.5/class III is not acceptable at any stage of academic career.
Pay Scale: Tk 9,300-22,490 (Grad-16)

3. Post Name: Office Assistant Cum Computer Typist
No. of Posts: 2
Department: Office of the Registrar
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with satisfactory experience of working with various package programs on computer. OR HSC or equivalent pass and two years experience working with various package programs on computer. CGPA below 2.5/class III is not acceptable at any stage of academic career.
Pay Scale: Tk 9,300-22,490 (Grad-16)

Bank Draft (irrevocable) of Tk 300 issued from any branch of Agrani Bank on Jahangirnagar University Campus Branch in favor of Registrar or Miscellaneous Deposit Receipt from any branch of Agrani Bank to Agrani Bank, Jahangirnagar University Campus Branch as CD-0200001738242 with deposit receipt of Tk 300 along with application form must be attached.
